Any thoughts on utilizing Middlegen

to generate CMP based entity beans? I personally use this tool a great deal and it saves me a ton of time in when I create CMP entity beans. Basically, it allows you to point at a database and generate Entity Beans from the table(s) that you want. It is all driven through ANT and produces XDoclet output that can then be compiled.

Interesting idea. The license is a unique one, but seems to be along the lines of the Apache license so that shouldn’t be a barrier.

The xdoclet that is generated by middlegen can be used with myeclipse fairly well, i’ve tried that several times. They (middlegen) stated once that they like to develop a plugin for Eclipse, maybe efforts can be combined.
