I have a Mobi project that has been in production for over a year. It’s a simple app (iPhone) that gathers a few pieces of form input information and places it in the canned mobi email widget.

I need to do a couple of things….

    1) I need to migrate the mobi project to the new Myeclipse environment. Anyone have any examples that use email functions within their app?

    2) I need to modify the email generated from my app to come FROM a generic address other than from one of my accounts on the iPhone. Anyone have any experience with this or insight on how this could be accomplished.

    Thank you,

    Hi,

You can find some email samples by searching the MobiOne forums:

But I think for more control over the content you would want to use the Form function in the MobiOne screen and use a backend script like PHP. All the default send mail functions will just open the default mail application and use the device email address.
