    Good day,

Installed MyEclipse 7.5 onto Ubuntu using Pulse. I dont appear to have the option to add JPA or Spring Capabilities – they are not on my MyEclipse menu. Other features like JSF, Hibernate, Struts, ect are present. Am I doing something stupid, they were present when i still had Windows.

    medic,

Please Check that do you have JPA and Spring capabilities under Project Capabilities of MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench in Preferences Page. You can get it from Window>Preferences.
In the Preferences Page, Expand MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench and again expand Project Capabilities to locate JPA and Spring Capabilities.

    medic,

Seems like you got some problem while installing ME. Can you please try a fresh install of ME 7.5 using All in One Installer or Manual install from the url – http://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=Downloads&req=viewsdownload&sid=31
Make you sure you uninstall and delete the entire ME 7.5 and Pulse related folders before installing.
    Please let me kow.

    Marc,

Please follow the below steps –
    1. Run the uninstaller.
    2. Make sure the MyEclipse Install Directory has been completely removed
2.1. Pulse Install Directory, on XP it’s under C:\Program Files in \Pulse or \Genuitec, and on Vista it’s under \AppData\Local and then under \Pulse or \Genuitec again
    3. Then make sure the pulse2.locator file under is erased as well

Next install MyEclipse using options available from this link – http://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=Downloads&req=viewsdownload&sid=31

Let me know how this works for you.
