I have ME9 for Spring and I watched some of the videos which show that I can create a new project and select Spring Project as a project type, but I have no such option. I tried looking in “Other” and I see nothing there either.

I do have the option on MyEclipse menu to “Scaffold Spring CRUD ..” etc so something is working but I have no way to create a new spring project from scratch other than hard code it.

What’s missing? I tried doing a new install and have the same issue.

    Thanks

    Chris

    Chris,
I am not sure which video you are mentioning, can you send me a link.

Generally, we demonstrate the product by creating a new Web Project or Dynamic Web Project or Maven project.
Then we right click on the project and scaffold into the project. One of the screens asks whether or not you would like to add the Spring Nature to the project.

If you are not going to be scafolding, you can also apply the spring capabilities through a right click menu.

Also, are you running within STS or in MyEclipse for Spring Stand alone?

    Thanks,
    Jack
