When the app starts up – it checks the internet wx the app cache needs to be updated
from the internet.

Where exactly is this done – which file (phoneui.js???) and what should i look for.

I’d like to change it so that it checks only once a month.

Specifically – if you’ve got a webapp/webclip and start it up and also
happen to be in the area of a public WIFI (e.g. airport) that requires
a login – i.e. forces the browser to a login page.

It messes up the app cache…anything can be done about this???

I am not sure that this can be possible. Have you ever seen this implemented by other webclips? If yes, could you share a link to them?
