support-michaelKeymasterYikes! Sorry to see this update glitch. It could have been an network or some other quirk. Two things to do:
1) can you do me a favor zip up the entire MobiOne installation directory? I realize this will result in a big file but it would be super helpful if you can do this. Send it to us using a free service such as https://wetransfer.com/ Our email address is support at genuitec dot com use the subject “MobiOne update error from hoidaguyen”
2) Please uninstall MobiOne and reinstall from scratch using the MobiOne 2.2.0 installer from http://genuitec.com/mobione/download.html
hoidaonguyenMemberSorry Wayne,,
I just uninstalled (20 minutes ago) and reinstall from scratch (Do not have the problem directory anymore)
Everything fine if done from scratch…………By the way, At the end Mobione asking to allow go through my firewall…(See attaching)

support-michaelKeymasterTo your question, I don’t believe there will be any negative effect from denying incoming connections. To my knowledge there are no such inbound services supported by mobione.
hoidaonguyenMember@Wayne..!

According to what you said, so why MobiOne asking premission to go through the firewall?
(As you saw on attaching image), this issue is not a big deal to me, but what borther me is
“Your anwser..”
support-michaelKeymasterLet me start by responding to your issue with my answer. You asked a question and I answered it quickly and honestly at the end of a 15 hr day that involved the ver 2.2 product release and was preceded by a very long couple of week of testing. There is no shenanigan’s at play here and I’m not covering up anything. I would be the 1st to call out any goof or suspicious mobione matter. Internal to MobiOne is an embedded webkit browser that is used by the Test Center and various tools. My plan is to discuss this with our technologists tomorrow (monday) and see what we can do about this matter going forward.
Peace!
