The MobiOne App Center Builder service termination date has been extended to Jan 31, 2015. We realized that many developers have not completed their build service transition to either MyEclipse with the PhoneGap Build service or an alternate service. Therefore we are extending the retirement date for App Center Builder for an additional month. For iOS developers that plan to deploy their apps through the iTunes app store, please be aware that apps created by the App Center Builder service do NOT comply with the upcoming iTune Feb 1, 2015 requirement (learn more). See this post for information on using MyEclipse as an alternative app build service for your MobiOne projects.MobiOne Studio was Genuitec’s entry into the ever-changing world of mobile development. It made it easy for non-developers to create simple mobile applications. But, for real-world enterprise mobile, more is needed than can be provided by MobiOne Studio. The good news is that MobiOne opened the door to hybrid app and build capabilities on both Windows and Mac. With MyEclipse Mobile Tools, you can integrate these ground-breaking capabilities with the backend Java EE required for enterprise-ready mobile apps.
If you have not already, we recommend checking out our other products for mobile technology:
GapDebug at https://www.genuitec.com/products/gapdebug/
MyEclipse at https://www.genuitec.com/products/myeclipse/We will be continuing to support MobiOne with forum assistance through the end of 2014, though we will be unable to re-architecture MobiOne to support Cordova 3.5.1 as now required by the Google Play store. We will be providing additional information shortly including details on how you can migrate your MobiOne project to be able to be built and resubmit to the app store.
We thank you for all the support you have shown MobiOne and look forward to seeing you over in the forums of one of our other products.
