I have some doubts. Maybe you can help.
I’ve read that one can ‘compile’ to iphone app with Phonegap 0.8. I that realy true?

Thanks for your interest. I have provide responses based on current capability of MobiOne 1.0M9. As I was drafting this response to each of your questions it would be nice to know the level of importance of each feature listed since they are never equally weighted and other readers will develop their own impression based on yes/no answers. I dated this response because it will be out of date in a matter of days as we continue to improve and expand MobiOne.

A native application capability is planned but not available at this time.

Does it work with latest Phonegap?

R: No, we have deferred full support of phonegap until after the upcoming 1.0 release and will readdress it when we add the ability to support iphone app building.

Can be fixed the problem with iPAD view with some hand-code once finished?

R: at this time we are working on an improved code generation capability to work directly on iPad. It is still early in development but we have serious intention to improve the cross device support asap.

When do you plan to do next upgrades to MobiOne new features?

R: Our goal is to provide updates every 3-5 weeks. We have a possible update-3 rolling out early this week to fix a couple of outstanding issues that have been bugging us for a while.

Is a Mac version on the horizon?

R: While we recognize the importance of Mac platform we have not yet committed a date to when MobiOne will be supported on it. Our priority is to get MobiOne bulletproof on 1 platform, Windows at this time. Only then will we consider a Mac port.

Can MobiOne do this:

At this time MobiOne’s Design Center focus is concentrated towards creation of general purpose apps. Integration with other services such as social services or the provision of a application templates for social services such as Twitter, Facebook, Flickr have not been a high priority for most of our customers. Our understanding is that they already have social apps and are looking to create their own applications. For demonstration purposes we do plan on providing some example twitter and facebook mobione apps in the near future.

– Put a page on a Favorits list

R: If you use Send To My Phone or deploy your MobiOne webapp on you own server you can save it to your home screen. From there you can add the webapp to the iPhone’s favorites list.

– Do a in app search

R: What exactly do you need as app specific search is unique to the app?

R: Yes, with Send To My Phone feature

– Photo thumbnails list and go to image detail

R: not yet

– Video thumbnails list and go to video detail

R: not yet

– Connect to a twitter account?
– Connect to a Facebook account?
– Connect to a Flikr account?

R: The Test Center supports connecting to Facebook Twitter and Flikr and testing the mobile web applications provided by each of these and many other services. The Design Center does not yet include templates for creating apps for any of these services.
