MobiOne startup error; No valid license found – ANSWERED

    hello mobione team

    I’m getting a license error and mobiOne doesn’t start.
    SystemInfos:
    winXP
    eclipse 3.6 and newest JDK
    installFolder: C:\Programme\MobiOne Studio\MobiOne 1.0 M9 Update 3
    no other genuiTec products or older versions are installed

    any clue ?

    Another user reported a similar problem. I believe MobiOne did not install correctly for some reason. Here’s how we resolved previous case.
    (This problems will be handled much more unobtrusively in near future).

    1) try running the MobiOne uninstaller

    1a) if it does not complete then manually delete the MobiOne installation folder, e.g.,
    <user-home>/AppData/Local/MobiOne Studio

    2) delete former MobiOne installer and redownload the latest MobiOne installer
    http://genuitec.com/mobile/download.html

    3) run installer and MobiOne should be good to go

    Let me know how this works.

    Update –

    Late this week a new MobiOne update will be released that includes a much more robust installer capable of handling this situation. Watch for the ANN at http://genuitec.com/mobile
