I have both Eclipse3.0.2 and Eclips 3.1.1 on my machine. I previously had MyEclipse 3.8.4 installed on top of Eclipse3.0.2. Is it possilbe to install MyEclipse4.0.3 on Eclipse3.1.1 and leave the other stack alone(I want to continue to use that for some projects)? Any insight appreciated.

Yes that’s fine, MyEclipse is installed as an extension against Eclipse, so regardless of what the fancy installer does, unless you go running the uninstaller or removing the extension from Eclipse itself, they will stay installed against the particular Eclipse install you installed them against.
