My os is win7.I developed the web project.
When I modify the JSP or Java file, MyEclipse can be compiled, but not the modified JSP and class redeploy to tomcat.
I remember in the last version, as long as the file changes, will immediately trigger the redeployment process.

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

1) Can you clarify if you are using exploded deployment, that you are starting the server in Debug mode ? If you are using the Servers view to launch Tomcat and are selecting “Run”, you need to stop it and select “Debug”… the server has to be running in Debug mode.

2) Also,please make sure that “Project -> Build Automatically” is switched. Hot code replacement works (only?) if automatic build is switched on.

3) Can you switch to a new workspace, create a new project with sample java files and JSP files, check if the hot deployment is working ? It might also be a workspace/cache issue.

4) Can you please share your MyEclipse installation details from MyEclipse > Installation summary > Installation details ?

4) Can you also check the .log file which is located at <workspace dir>/.metadata/.log for any errors of interest ? If yes then paste the errors here for us to investigate further.

1）I use myeclipse tomcat7，not server view of wtp.The deploy type of server is exploded archive.

There might be an issue in the current workspace. Can you please import your projects into the new workspace and continue working in the new workspace ?

I tried the following, the project completely copied to a new workspace, or unable to automatically deploy.

If possible, can you please attach a sample project which exhibits this issue to help us investigate further ? Else, can you please strip the project of its source code and send us all the .* files (.class,.settings etc) of the project to help us investigate further ?
