Hi,

I’ve installed without problems both eclipse and myeclipse. The issue is that the myyeclipse menu and preference option is not available. It appers on the features and plugins tab on the help panel but thats about it. Can’t make any use of it.

Tried installing it with eclipse installed in the following paths:

/usr/local/software/eclipse
/usr/local/software/eclipse-3.0SDK

I had the same problem using windows xp, that eclipse would not show the extra menus/options for myeclipse

Any ideas.

Issue sorted.

The problem was that the SDK doesnt include the jdt plugins/features.

Wierd as the previous beta version was installed without any problems using the same SDK

Glad you figured it out. That’s actually a somewhat common problem with all the distros available.
