support-pradeepMemberJeremy,
I could not replicate the issue at my end.
1. Did you try to add the plugin from Quick Add popular plugins section from MyEclipse configuration center ? Please let us know the details if you are adding in any other way.
2. Are you behind a firewall/proxy? If yes then you can set proxy settings here : from MyEclipse menu click on Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections.
Jeremy4MemberHi Pradeep
I am using MyEclipse for Spring 10.1 and I tried to apply the Google plugin from the configuration center. I am on a corporate network and I have updated my proxy settings and auth details.
Is there a way to download this plugin as a bundle seprately and then install it as a local archive? I suspect that there could be other restrictions imposed by the proxy that I am not aware of.
support-pradeepMemberJeremy4,
You can download the “Google plugin for eclipse” bundle from here :
http://dl.google.com/eclipse/plugin/core/3.7/zips/gpe-e37-latest-updatesite.zipGo to MyEclipse Configuration Center > Software > Add Site > Add from Archive, select the downloaded Google plugin for eclipse zip file and follow the wizard.
Here is a detailed tutorial on how to add the plugins to MyEclipse :
