For memory and performance issues, please refer https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshooting-memory-amp-performance-issues/
If you are still seeing the performance issues can you please elaborate where exactly you are seeing a slow down? Is it while working with specific editors or during startup?
Let us know how it works for you.
sairam39MemberThanks a lot Pradeep, issue has been resolved.

Sorry that you are seeing this in MyEclipse.
Can you please answer some more queries to help us investigate further :
1) Can you please mention when are you facing this issue ? Is it during MyEclipse startup or while working with some editor in MyEclipse ?
2) Can you try switching to a new workspace and check whether you can replicate the issue in the new workspace ?
3) Clear the contents of.log file located at <Workspace dir>/.metadata/.log file, then replicate the issue and attach the .log file here to help us investigate further.

sairam39MemberDear Team,
Greetings for the day!!!
I am having myeclipse license in my system, due to some problem I using another new system , now I want my myeclipse for this system and remove from existing system.
How can I do this one.
please let me know the solution.
I am using ,myeclipse 8.5 version linux environment
support-pradeepMembersairam39,
You can uninstall MyEclipse which will release the license information from the existing machine. You can verify by doing the following –
1. Run the MyEclipse uninstaller.
2. Make sure the MyEclipse Install Directory has been completely removed
3. Then make sure the .myeclipse folder, the .myeclipse.properties file and the .pulse2.locator file under /home/<user name> are erased as well. After performing the above steps, you need to enter the MyEclipse license information in the new system.
Let us know if you see any issues.
sairam39MemberHi Pradeep,
Here is the log file from metadata.
My system configurations
8 gb ram
ubuntu 12
i3 processror.
Xmx2048m
-XX:MaxPermSize=4096m
-XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=512m
support-swapnaModeratorSairam,
Apologies for the delay in the response.
The .log file is missing. The MaxPermSize setting seems very high.
Can you please try reducing the maxpermsize and check if it helps? If the issue persists, then please send us the .log file. -
