My understanding is that the all-in-one installer for MyEclipse 5.1 (which I downloaded today) includes the matisse editor. I am a professional license holder, and uninstalled my older version of myeclipse and eclipse before running the all-in-1 installer. When I start MyEclipse 5.1 there is no matisse perspective and the MyEclipse Learning Center gives an error when I click on the section for matisse under UI dev tools.

    JRadvan,

Sorry for the confusion. Actually, Matisse4MyEclipse is still shipped separately for a variety of reasons. However, it’s very simple to get now that you’ve got 5.1 installed. Simply select Help > Software Updates > Find and Install > Search for new features to install > MyEclipse Discovery Site. Then let the wizard continue and you can select Matisse4MyEclipse. It will only take a minute to download and install.

Thanks Scott. Perhaps that should be in the release notes? Is there anything else not bundled with the “all-in-one” installer?

Good idea. We put it in the release announcement, but the more places the better. I’ll open a bug report on that so we can get it into the notes next time.

    Not a thing. 🙂
