White spaces are required between publicId and systemId.The path’s myeclipse searches when it calls anything, might be venturing into
another ide’s space, just a hunch.
since I experienced duplicate menus that
dissappeared after temporarily removing another ide or just a coincidence?
Loyal WaterMemberCan you double-check the proxy settings under the General > Network Connections panel. The Update Manager is working fine at my end. I got it this confirmed with another developer as well.

You can try running through the Pulse-optimized installer for a “totally clean install” if problems persist.

I don’t know how to use Pulse
Loyal WaterMemberI don’t know how to use Pulse
You can go to http://www.poweredbypulse.com and grab the pulse lancher. You can launch Eclipse using the pulse launcher and then add a MyEclipse profile to it.
