The path’s myeclipse searches when it calls anything, might be venturing into
another ide’s space, just a hunch.
since I experienced duplicate menus that
dissappeared after temporarily removing another ide or just a coincidence?

Can you double-check the proxy settings under the General > Network Connections panel. The Update Manager is working fine at my end. I got it this confirmed with another developer as well.

I didn’t quite understand what you were saying here Douglas, but if you are seeing duplicate menu entries and the like, it sounds like an installation problem; which might *also* be the cause for the network issue.

You can try running through the Pulse-optimized installer for a “totally clean install” if problems persist.

You can go to http://www.poweredbypulse.com and grab the pulse lancher. You can launch Eclipse using the pulse launcher and then add a MyEclipse profile to it.

I used Pulse to install myeclipse ide

but It told me Icefaces was in the catalog , but it isn’t

I tried to install , IceFaces 1.7 and ibatis , but I can’t do that now
unless I pay an additional $6 subscription
