CTRL+SHIFT+F12 has gone from facelets editor along with menu items.
I used to edit xhtml directly and usually press shortcut keys right after opening the editor in order to maximize xhtml part of facelets editor. Now I have to aim to very small arrow on the splitter in order to accomplish that.
Ideally MyEclipse should remember the last view state and provide some settings to configure editor behavior.

You are referring to the MyEclipse XHTML Editor?

in order to maximize xhtml part of facelets editor.

XHTML part is the design part or the code part of the page?

I meant code part of the page.

If you maximize the window to only show the code and then close the window, the state should save and the next time you open the file, it should open up with only the code view. Doesn’t that happen?

certainly it does not happen 🙁 Is there any settings that could be disabled in my case?

Can you go to MyEclipse > installation Summary > instalaltion Details and paste the information here for me.

You can even go to Windows > Pref > General > Editor > File Association and associate the *.xhtml file with the MyEclipse HTML Editor. That would open your xhtml file with the code window only.
