delfuegoMemberHowdy all — I just did a fresh install of MyEclipse 6.5 on my OS X machine using the local archive option (installed Eclipse 3.3, then used the local archive of MyEclipse 6.5 to install MyEclipse) — and none of my web projects based on Spring 2.0 work anymore. Looking into it, it appears that the MyEclipse 6.5 installer (at least going the local-archive route) doesn’t install any libraries into the Spring 2.0 Web Libraries module.
Looking in my prefs (MyEclipse / Project Capabilities / Spring / Spring 2.0 / Spring 2.0 Web Libraries) shows me an empty list.
Ugh. How do I restore what should be here?

delfuegoMemberAnyone? Any thoughts? I know it hasn’t been very long since I posted this, but given the problem, MyEclipse 6.5 is unusable for 80%+ of our projects, since it doesn’t include the Spring 2.0 Web libraries. We can add them manually, but that means that we change our dependencies across dozens or more projects, something that isn’t all that appealing…
Loyal WaterMemberSounds like an installation issue. Did you install MyEclipse 6.5 to a brand new location?
Looking in my prefs (MyEclipse / Project Capabilities / Spring / Spring 2.0 / Spring 2.0 Web Libraries) shows me an empty list.
There is a Restore Default button at the bottom of this page. If you hit that button, do the libraries show up?
Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.
Loyal WaterMemberAlso, please make sure your using Eclipse 3.3 Classic.
delfuegoMemberI was using Eclipse 3.3 Classic — I say “was” because I ended up nuking that installation entirely the night of the 24th and retrying. I didn’t get a repeat of the Spring 2.0 Web libraries going missing, though, so I don’t know what might have happened… weird.
In any event, restarting the entire installation process from scratch fixed this weirdness.
Loyal WaterMemberWeird but Im glad your up and running now.
