arjan.tijmsMemberHi,
I wondered when MyEclipse 7.0 GA will be released. The road map says ” MyEclipse 7.0 GA *Releasing mid-November, 2008″, but it has already been the mid of November.
Any new date?
Loyal WaterMemberarjan.tijms,
The release has been postponed to the first week of December. I’m sorry that the road map was not updated.

Steve PriorMemberNo need to update the road map as long as you’re willing to ship it by November 36th… 🙂
dsbaderMemberWondering… Will it be released today or has the date slipped?
Steve PriorMemberSorry, I didn’t mean to give others the hope it would be released today (I’m in the dark too), I was just making an inside the industry joke that sometimes organizations who have promised a delivery in a certain month are willing to fudge the number of days in that month to live up to that schedule. I got that joke at a previous employer.
Loyal WaterMemberGuys,
We are trying to get 7.0 GA out by the end of day.
henkMemberEagerly await it. Today would be a particular nice day 🙂
(in The Netherlands it’s ‘Sinterklaas’, which is basically the Dutch version of Santaclaus, known to give presents. We already got a nice present from Jboss today (Jboss AS 5 GA has been released), so surely Genuitec can’t stay behind, can it? 😛 )
Loyal WaterMemberGuys,
We are sorry for the delay. We found a last-minute QA issue with some bigger workspaces that were causing load-up failures that we took back into intense QA and development to make sure that didn’t happen to any of our customers. We found it late Friday night, and have worked clear through the weekend, 6am -> 2am Fri/Sat/Sun to get it fixed and re-QA’ed and things are looking green and wonderful again and we just running the release through a really thorough QA cycle to make sure it’s really fixed.
We would be making the release “soon”.
