So, the following tutorial offered is great and I’ve used it in other versions of MyEclipse with great success in the past. In evaluating the newest milestone release of MyEclipse 8.5… I was glad to see that Spring 3.0 was an option.

However, when following this tutorial and choosing Spring 3.0 (instead of say Spring 2.5)… the option to later choose Spring DAO is disabled.

Here’s the link to the great tutorial:
    http://www.myeclipseide.com/documentation/quickstarts/jpaspring/

I simply can’t get it to work with Spring 3.0. I figure:
    1) I’m new to Spring 3.0… and maybe Spring DAO is not a valid option for that version?
    2) It’s an early release of MyEclipse 8.5 and it’s just not offered yet?
    3) I’m just doing something wrong?

Any help would be appreciated… thanks!

    tanis,
Thank you for bringing this to our notice. I have raised a PR with the dev team
