3hMemberHi,
I tried to install JBoss Tool (version 3.2) with Seam tool but it was error. Let me know with version of JBoss Tool suiable with MyEclipse 8.6 Enterprise?
Huy
support-swapnaModeratorHuy,
The JBoss Tool version for ME 8.6 should be compatible with base Eclipse version 3.5.
JBoss Tool 3.1 is the one which is compatible with Eclipse 3.5.Here is the link from where you can download the Tool :
http://www.jboss.org/tools/download/Let us know how this works for you.

support-swapnaModerator3h,
There is already Hibernate support built into the MyEclipse IDE so the dependency errors.
If you want to use the Hibernate provided by the tool then here are the steps to remove it:1) Go to Help > MyEclipse Configuration Center > Dashboard > MyEclipse Features.
2) Uncheck Spring/Hibernate/JPA Support for MyEclipse.
3) Apply the changes and follow the wizard.
4) Once done you can install the JBoss tool.Let me know how this works for you.
3hMemberThanks for response, but it still does not work. Here are errors:

3hMemberLook like I can not develop JBoss Seam with myEclipse
support-swapnaModerator3h,
I could replicate the issue at my end. I will file a PR for the dev to work on it.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
3hMemberThanks, please let me if this issue fixed.
How about MyEclipse Enterprise 9 with JBoss Tool?
support-swapnaModerator3h,
The current release of ME 9 doesn’t have the fix for JBoss Tool.
I have already raised a PR for the same and the dev team will look into it.
crispyozMemberI have the same issue with this on ME 9. Do you have any idea of an ETA for this fix?
Thanks
Chris
Brian FernandesModeratorChris,
1) Unfortunately, this fix involves removing components that are central to MyEclipse and cannot be easily replaced or removed; as such, the earliest we would consider fixing this is during the MyEclipse 10 release which is due in August.
2) Could you tell me what your primary reason for needing JBoss tools is? Do you need the seam support or other features?
crispyozMemberHi Brian,
We need Seam support, it is central to our development. I must say that it does bug me that ME is so fussy with plugins all the time when I can download standard Eclipse and install things.
As a long time JBuilder user, I reluctantly started using Eclipse a few ago because the the Borland (et al) customised version of Ellipse was so fussy with plugins, I to love MyEclipse but these types of issues are very off-putting, I now have ME4S, Blackberry JDE, Standard Helios and Oracle JDE all installed on my systems due to these types of issues.
Chris
Brian FernandesModeratorChris,
I must say that it does bug me that ME is so fussy with plugins all the time when I can download standard Eclipse and install things.
The reason standard Eclipse is compatible is because it includes a limited set of tools as compared to MyEclipse. The more we add to MyEclipse, the more useful it is as a standalone product, but can result in compatibility issues as you have seen.
I do understand your frustration though and we’re doing our best to modularize MyEclipse further so you can more easily remove the parts that you aren’t too happy with and add external bits that you may need instead.
Before that, we’ll be working on making the tooling compatible to start off with, by making changes to the product that allow the installation of additional JBoss tools; as I stated earlier, this will come in as part of MyEclipse 10.
