MyEclipse & CVS status problems [Closed]

    Have a question … Also can be considered a “bug fix” request. MyEclipse perspective in Eclipse is masking some files from showing (like .metadata or .myeclipse), however CVS label decorations mark project updated if one of those files is updated. This creates an interesting “picture” – project is updated, but no files have update status showing. Changing to recource perspective shows all files and gives me an option to act on those files …

    The issue you’re describing is really not caused by the MyEclipse perspective, it’s simply a difference in the default filtering between the Package Explorer view and the Resources view. To see your ‘dot’ files in the package explorer view, click on the view’s dropdown menu and select ‘Filters…’. You can then uncheck the one for dot files and you’ll then be able to see them in the Package Explorer view.
