We’re currently trying to update our development environments to run on Win7 64-bit. Currently, when we try to deploy our application, it’s failing, and we haven’t been able to find much in the way of debugging info.

We’re using MyEclipse Blue 2014 and a local installation of WebSphere 8.0. Here is the installation summary from MyEclipse, followed by the contents of the deployment log. What other log files should we be looking at? I’ve seen a couple notes about adding the -console flag to the .ini file, but I’m not sure precisely where it goes, or what other info that will provide. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry that you are seeing this issue. We have made some improvements to the Websphere support in our latest release,MyEclipse 2015.
I recommend you move to MyEclipse 2015 to take advantage of the improvements.

You can download the latest MyEclipse 2015 installer from here : https://www.genuitec.com/products/myeclipse/download/
MyEclipse 2015 is a unified product. Access to features is based on the license applied. Your current license is valid for MyEclipse 2015 as well.

If the issue persists, then :

1. Can you please recheck if you are running the MyEclipse as administrator? If no, then please right click on the myeclipse.exe > Run as administrator and check if the issue persists.

2.Please send us the websphere server logs for further investigation. The logs are located at /profiles/profile/logs/server1.

Are you using the In-Workspace mode for deployment? If yes, then please either switch to Classic mode of deployment or update to MyEclipse 2015 and see how it works.
