Hello,
We currently have 180 ME Blue 8.6.1 licenses w/ developers running the 8.6.1 version on their machines. We see from announcementst that the latest 9.0 Release is available. When I go to the ME Configuration Center in the IDE to check for updates…it reports none are available. We have many users and need to know what to do to get them upgraded. Our subscriptions run through September 2011. Please let us know.

As the base Eclipse version for ME Blue 8.6.1 and ME Blue 9.0 is not the same, you will not see the update to MEB 9.0 in the Configuration Center.
You can download using the custom installer links that are specific to your operating system in the sections below this link :
http://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?name=Recommend_Us&req=Download&version=MEAlternatively you can use Pulse to install ME Blue 9.0.
Here are the steps to install using Pulse :
1. Open pulse(If you don’t have pulse, download the same from http://www.poweredbypulse.com)
2. Login to pulse
3. Select “Eclipse – Helios” realm from top left hand corner dropdown
4. Click and expand – Ready to use profiles > Popular
5. From the right hand pane, right click on “MyEclipse Blue 9” and click on [run]
6. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps.Let me know if you need further assistance.
Thank you. Just to clarify – could we try installing ME Blue 9.0 directly as you first suggest (w/o removal of 8.6.1) and point it to the current workspace? Obviously we’d have to re-establish our server connectors to our WAS 7 installations/profiles. I would assume this should work? I need to get the internal process established since we need to communicate this to nearly 160 current 8.6.1 users. I see this is Helios based vs Galileo based.
