jamestthomasMemberWe are moving from the IBM development tool, (RAD, etc..) to My Eclipse Blue. We have utilized Web Services in our application in the past. IBM offers wizard like creation of web services and produces a good amount of generated code. Since we are moving to My Eclipse Blue, what is the best practice for created Web Services in that environment? Will we need any additional plug-ins? Are there some basic examples and tutorials we can follow to get our feet wet? Are there issues or “gotchas” it would be good to be aware of ahead of time. I am curious to hear to from those who made a similar switch. Particularly, how they managed the creation of new Web Services?

Thank you for trying MyEclipse Blue.
1) Here is the tutorial for migrating projects from RAD to MyEclipse Blue :

There will be slight differences between the tutorials and the actual screens. You can migrate projects using menu item MyEclipse > Enhance RAD projects to work with MyEclipse and follow the wizard.
