I see that MyEclipse is planning a “Blue” edtiion to support development targeting WAS 6/6.1. Assuming this is positioned as an alternative to the RAD tools platform from Rational, are there plans to support Portlet development for Websphere Portal Server as well? Currently this is supported via Portal Toolkit within the RAD platform.

I bought MY EClipse with the big hope that they will provide support for Portal development. But I don’t know whether they are concentrating on this or not? Since market is hot for Portal and people like me bought Myeclipse, looking alternate tool for Portal. Any pressure from application Server providers? or they don’t have idea to make Myeclipse to support the portal with Web application servers?
