Somehow I got to a MyEclipse Configuration Center dialog and I can‘t get out of it.
It appears to be attempting to upgrade from 8.5 to 8.6 but it fails.
“An error occurred during the com.genuitec.pulse2.client.common.download.VerifyCommonCachePhase phase.
    session context wasprofile=com.poweredbypulse.profile-0-rb-578452-127793837799, phase=com.genuitec.pulse2.client.common.donwload.VerifyCommonCachePhase, operand=,action=).
I can exit MyEclipse but when I restart it, I’m back to the same dialog.

    lforster022650,

Did you click on apply update from ME8.5 to 8.6? Can you answer below queries –
    1. Can you copy and paste your installation details? Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details.
    2. Clear your .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate the steps and copy and paste the relevant portion of your .log file here
    3. Can you attach a screenshot of the issue, this would help me get a visual. You can either [pm]/[post reply] the attachments

I would recommend you a quick fix using pulse. Here is what you can do –
    1. Open Pulse (Start > Programs > Pulse > Pulse Explorer or download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com)
    2. Login to pulse
    3. Select “Eclipse – Galileo” realm from top left hand corner dropdown
    4. Select “MyEclipse 8.5/8.6” from “My Profiles”
    5. Right click on the same and click on [re-install and run]
    6. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps
    7. When prompted, please choose to restart the IDE
Pulse would fix any dependency issue. Let me know how this works for you.

    Cleared the .log
Clicked on MyEclipe | Configuration Center (I was attempting to configure JBoss in MyEclipse). Configuration Center says Apply 1 change with no obvious way to back out. So I elected to applied it. I see a dialog Validating MyEclipse 1.6 Then Pulse is ready to update – again no obvious way to back out. If I close the dialog I believe it takes me back to the Configuration Center. So I click on Update.
