Hello,

MyEclipse Configuration Center needs 2-3 minutes to display. During that time, it displays “Loading Software and Workspace Center… 75%” full page. I cannot abort or do anything.

When it does display, it fails to show any updates, tips and tricks, or news.

What should I investigate? I tried to configure the proxy as native or direct.

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Please provide below details to help me investigate further –
1. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details > [Copy to Clipboard] and paste the same here
2. From MyEclipse IDE menu options click on Help > About MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench and copy and paste Build ID and Version details
3. Please clear your .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate the issue and attach file here
4. Could you attach a screenshot of the issue you are seeing to help me get a visual
5. Also attach a screenshot of Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections

Sorry that you are seeing this issue.

1. How did you install MyEclipse ? Is it using All-In-One installer/Pulse or using the Archived Update site ?

2. Are you behind a firewall or proxy ? If yes then you can set proxy settings here : from MyEclipse menu click on Window > Preferences > Pulse > Network Settings.

3. Can you please attach a screenshot of the ME Configuration Center to help us get a visual of the issue ?

4. Please clear your .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate the issue and attach file here

I thought I included those attachments in my last post.

On this issue I used the all in one install for 10.6. But when I uninstall 10.6 and install 10.5 the center works just fine.

I will try to attach the screen shots but I don’t have the log file any more.

1. Before installing 10.6, are you uninstalling 10.5 version ?

2. Can you switch to a new workspace and check if the issue exists ?

3. Can you please check if you can Repair the 10.6 installation or install another copy to a different location and see if the issue exists? If you re run the installer, you will see options to either Repair the existing installation or install another copy.

4. Also please attach the requested screenshots.
