I get “MyEclipse Create Process:Exception occurred executing command line.” trying to run a main or a unit test (version 6.0.1 GA).

The problem went away when I realized that the project was using two J2EE libraries “JAVA EE 5 Libraries” and “J2EE 1.4” (both seem to be in the myeclipse install except the former doesn’t show up in the “add library” dialog). Getting rid of one solved the problem.

How they both got there, I haven’t a clue.

Please let me know if this is a bug or I should become a florist.

This issue has been reported for the first time. You might have accidentally added the other set of J2EE libs.

Please let me know if you are come across this situation again in any of your projects and you are able to reproduce this consistently.

Maybe so, but keep in mind that both sets are listed as “MyEclipse” J2EE libs–it was not a library that I created. I think what happened was that one was carried along when MyEclipse was updated. Bottom line is that having both libraries creates this stange exception. I’ll keep checking 🙂

The J2EE libraries are available under the MyEclipse Library List when you right click on a project and select Build Path > Add Library. I guess thats how you added the library.
