douglasvMemberI set up a mysql driver and it brought up the database and tables
I also configured a tomcat application serverupon exiting from myeclipse and re-starting myeclipse ,the tomcat server setup is gone, I needed to re-configure tomcat to use it
the mysql driver and it’s configuration , where not available while trying to configure another project
How can I make these configurations permanent??? I did use “Apply” and “OK”
Haris PecoMemberdouglasv,
Do you write access to your workspace ?
The driver, connection profile and tomcat configuration are permanent and it is writen to workspace. This is not possible if you haven’t write premission to workspaceRegards,

I’m logged in as a user with administrator privileges, using win xp, does myeclipse have a user embedded in the application???
I am having many un-usual results with myeclipse and eclipse
I’m wondering if it’s because of the amd 64 bit dual core processor
running win xp 32 bit o/s

I just created a project test, I tried to start the application server, but, got the message:
“No enabled servers available” Select to view myeclipse preferences
It didn’t know about your tomcat permanent configuration; It’s clear myeclipse will not run on my windows xp machine
Haris PecoMemberCould you please change some eclipse preferences (for instance, memory heap or perpective settings) and see if it’s permanent after restart.
Regards,

Regards,
I’m sure it’s my computer, I re-installed myeclipse, and the tutorials from the welcome page now display?
Just Goofy Behavior!
I will try myeclipse on an intel windows machine when I get time
but as for now, myeclipse is quirky!

I was using an AMD 64 bit cpu running 32 bit winxp -
