MyEclipse executable launcher and shared library problem

    Hello MyEclipse,

    Well, I accepted upgrades this morning. It seemed to go okay, then said I need to restart MyEclipse.

    I pushed “okay” (or “restart”, or whatever). MyEclipse went away and tried to restart.

    On restart, it pops up a dialog box that says: “The MyEclipse executable launcher was unable to locate its companion shared library”. (The only option is to press “okay”.)

    I cannot give you installation details, as MyEclipse will not load.

    Prior to today, I had MyEclipse 7.1, I’m running on Windows XP Professional.

    Please help ASAP. As I have deadlines. (Surprise)

    We are tracking the issue in that separate thread and I just want to see if that suggested workaround works for you as well.

    For anyone that finds this post, just wanted to follow up to say that we helped Tory get through this and he’s “all good” now.

    Ah, yes. Sorry about that. I had shifted over to the other thread (mentioned above).
