Hi there:

Whenever I try to export a project by:

right-clicking on the project and choosing export as EAR or JAR file, MyEclipse just hangs and I have to force shut down the application.

And finally I am not able to export the project.

I am having the same problem, I can’t export an .ear, new install of Eclipse/MyEclipse hangs and doesn’t finish. Here is my info:

Can you see if there are any relevant errors in your error log? <your_workspace_dir>/.metadata/.log

If so could you post them here?

In the meantime, could you download the 5.1 or 5.5 all-in-one installer and install into a separate clean directory? This all-in-one install will not interfere with your other MyEclipse installation. Then try to replicate your problem with the MyEclipse 5.1/5.5M1. This will give us an idea of where the problem might lay.
