Hi,

is there an icon for MyEclipse available. It would help distinguish it a ‘normal’ Eclipse icon.

If you use the installer there should be a myeclipse icon that is used for the shortcut created on your desktop. I believe it lives in the MyEclipse install dir OR is copied to your Eclipse dir, I forget.

I used the zip version, so maybe this is missing in it.

Correct, the zipped version doesn’t have the icon in it.

You can unzip and use as you like. To make the splash screen display on Eclipse startup, you’ll need commandline options like the following:
eclipse.exe -vmargs -Dosgi.splashLocation=”<path-to-splashscreen>\MyEclipseSplash.bmp”
