With MyEclipse, you can develop apps that work on your smartphone, but we will not be releasing any version of MyEclipse or Eclipse which would actually work on a smartphone. You might want to check with Eclipse.org on this, but there is very little benefit with a huge load.

Also, not sure what meant by “update whenever away from computer” – whether that means update source in your workspace or update your IDE is unclear; there may be other ways to achieve what you want without actually running Eclipse on the phone.
