Hi, I have upgraded to 10.5 a few months ago and now again to 10.7
Every time the installer overrides the myeclipse.ini and removes -vmargs option before the memory settings which causes IDE to blow out of memory.

1. Please fix this, cause it’s very annoyng to figure out every time the problem…
2. can you please raise the default xmx64M (and other default mem settings) to someting that the IDE can actually run with!

Mike,

We actually have the mx value set to 512M and that’s what it should be when you update. This aspect is regular tested as well.

Can you tell me exactly how you’re updating? Are you running the newer installers or applying the update from within the product? How did you install the initial version of MyEclipse 10? (Offline installer / pulse explorer /other?)
