I have been using MyEclipse 5.1 and just upgraded to 6.0. The install went fine but after launching the application, any option from the MyEclipse menu returns a message stating “The chosen operation is not currently available”. When I try to go under Window – Preferences – MyEclipse, I get an error stating “Unable to create selected preference page. Reason: com/genuitec/eclipse/core/ui/preference/MyEclipsePreferencePage (Unsupported major.minor version 49.0)”
I have eclipse 3.3 installed and java 1.6 update 2. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I suggest you install JDK 1.5 and ensure you’re using it to start up with the -vm option in the eclipse.ini file
-vm <path-to-jdk>\bin\javaw.exe -vmargs ...Is there any estimate on a timeframe for full 1.6 support?
Downgrading to 1.5 is not an option for me.
