Hi,
We are using the Myeclipse9.1 and we observed that while seting up our application projects its asking for upgrade, So whats are the chnages happening for my application projects,So we want to avoid this ans handle this in our setup code itself

I am afraid from your post it is not clear as to what is the upgrade suggested to your application project. Please provide below details to help me investigate further –
1. Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and copy and paste the same here
2. Please attach a screenshot of the issue you are facing to help me get a visual
3. Are your application projects developed in MyEclipse 9.1? If not which IDE and which version?
4. What is the J2EE specification for your application project? Is it recommending upgrade to 1.6? Please clarify?
5. Clear .log file located at [your workspace dir]/.metadata/.log, replicate issue and attach the file here

Hi,
When im setting up my workspace for some of my projects its asking “Projects must be upgraded to work correctly with Myecipse9” with a popup and these projects are well worked with myeclipse7.5

My question is it mandatory to upgrade or can i skip this if so how to disable this popup

No it is not mandatory to update. You can choose to cancel the update, it should work fine.
