    Hi,

I recently installed MyEclipseForSpring 9.0a using your MyEclipseForSpring-9.0a-offline-installer-windows.exe.

The reason i upgraded besides general bug fixes, is that I wanted support for newer versions of Hibernate and Spring. I thought I had read (eg http://www.myeclipseide.com/me4s/ ) that v 9.x supports Hibernate 3.5. When I go to add Hibernate capabilities to either a web project or plain java project, the wizard only show the following possibilities

    Hibernate 2
    Hibernate 3
    Hibernate 3.1
    Hibernate 3.2
    Hibernate 3.3

No 3.5 core libraries are available.

I wish you support or product pages showed exactly what versions are supported ( i might have missed them 🙂

So what are the latest versions of Spring and Hibernate that you do support?

    Hello,

Sorry for the confusion here, there is a bit of overlap between the functionality that is offered through the “Capabilities” menus and the functionality that is offered by the Project / Right Click / MyEclipse / Add Spring Runtime Dependencies menu. The latter gives you the option to quickly add the Hibernate 3.5 Libraries along with many of the other libs that may be used by the “Scaffold Spring” application functionality.

Hope this helps, let me know if you aren’t able to get the desired effect.
I will log a feature request to add the Hibernate 3.5 Capabilities as well in order to bring these two pieces of functionality into sync.

    Thanks,
    Jack
