We have a custom athentication system plugged into websphere 5.0.2 and while I can startup the process and pass args for that, I can’t shutdown the websphere 5.0.2 process using MyEclipse because there is no way for me to add the user credntials to the shutdown command MyEclipse is uses.

We can pass arguments to shut down the websphere through myeclipse. At the time of configuration it asks you to put optional arguments, pls put following lines to the shut down arguments

-username <username> -password <password>
