I decided to use MyEclipse 6.0 to create my new table. It let me do this very well — even letting me select to engine type (such as MyISAM or InnoDB) — but I guess I took too long in the dialog box adding too many columns because after spending 20 minutes or so getting it all just right, it failed on me when when I clicked on the submit button (apparently because my DB connection timed out). So, annoyed, I tried again, this time, just added only a couple of columns. This worked, but now I find out that MyEclipse doesn’t allow me to edit a table’s structure once it is created. So now, I have to delete the table, then go outside of myEclipse to find another tool to create my table. Hopefully, the next version of MyEclipse will have a more complete set of database operations.
