I think the following is a bug, but I’m not sure. When I create an
Enterprise Application Project, but uncheck the EJB module the EJB
is still listed as part of the wizard’s tasks. This is harmless, as the
wizard only create the web module, but can be confusing as the
wizard lists tasks it is going to ignore.
To see the bug:
Start Eclipse 2.1.1
Go to MyEclipse Perspective
Press cntl-N
Select J2EE and Enterprise Application Project
Press Next
In the Creation Tasks area: uncheck Define EJB Project Module
Press Next
Check Create Web Project Module
Press Next
The Summary Page lists three tasks. Shouldn’t there just be two?
As I mentioned, when you press Finish the wizard does not create
the EJB moduel, but the extra info could be confusing.
Thanks for your time.
