First thing I am trying to do: set up an environment for a web app.

* I keep the web app under my file system at c:\dev\<webapp>

* I want to deploy it to c:\tomcat3.2\webapps\<webapp>

This is going to be running under (deployed to) tomcat 3.2.X.

In general how do I go about setting up this sort of deployment?

Tomcat 3 isn’t support directly from MyEclipse so when you go to deploy the project, you will need to use a Custom Location deployment and you will need to start/stop Tomcat outside of MyEclipse.
