The default path name for MyEclipse 7.5 installation uses “MyEclipse<space>7.5 as the last segment. As the default, many users will use that name, possibly changing the overall directory, and be surprised to find that they have to quote it in a command line. This is not a nice surprise. On Red Hat Linux, I use a menu-bar application launcher to start MyEclipse. The path name is filled in by briowsing. Thje launch doesn’t like blanks any more than a command line does.
While I CAN delete the blank when I install the software, having to do so is annoying. I don’t always remember to do so the first time I install a release, and I doubt that everyone else does either.
Please change the last segment to something like MyEclipse7.5 (note that there is no space before the release number) for future releases.
