“No grammar constraints (DTD or XML schema) detected for this document”
I get loads of these error messages now that I’ve upgraded to:

    MyEclipse 8.5
    MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench
    Version: 8.5
    Build id: 8.5-20100319

How do I disable the above warning?
I’ve searched and found numerous references and instructions but they don’t seem to apply to MyEclipse 8.5.

Suggestion 1) go to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Files and Editors > XML and uncheck “Indicate when no grammar is specified”.

In 8.5 that option does not show up. Interestingly, if I search for “grammar” under preferences it takes me to that page but the only options are for specifying the file suffix and encoding.

Suggestion 2) Go to Preferences–>XML–>XML FILES –> Validation and Select “ignore”.

Again in 8.5 this doesn’t exist.

    glindholm,
The following are the steps to ignore the above error in ME8.5 –
    1. Go to Window > Preferences > General > Capabilities and click Advanced.
    2. Expand MyEclipse Standard Tools and check “WTP Deprecated (Leave off)”.
    3. Click OK to close the preference dialog.
    4. Now go to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Files and Editors > XML > Validation and change “Indicate when no grammar is specified” to Ignore
    5. You can now disable “WTP Deprecated” by unchecking it from the “MyEclipse Standard Tools” capability.

This has been fixed in ME8.6 M1 and the above option is available from
    Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Validation > XML
