    Hi again,

i need to build struts2 apps now, so i want to do it without any support or integration in MyE-IDE.

Can anyone give me some small step-by-step hints to setup a struts2 capable project “by-foot”, which can be deployed and debugged via the integrated “deploy project” capabilities?

    I thought of soething like:
    1. create (web?)project
    2. add struts2-libraries
    3. …..?

I hope anyone succeeded in this and could give me the relevant hints that could prevent me from doing time-consuming “try,error&learn”-mistakes?

    Kind regards, Florian

    Florian,

I would recommend you to go through our tutorials on struts. Here is the link – http://www.myeclipseide.com/index.php?module=htmlpages&func=display&pid=7

I want struts2, your wizards are useless for me, because all are based on lower versions…

struts 2 has a completely different handling of actions, struts-config, etc….

So unfortunately your tutorials are worth nothing for me in this case…

So for preventing any further misunderstanding:

    Struts VERSION 2

    geldrome,

My Bad. I should have seen the version. Currently MyEclipse doesn’t support Struts2. That being said, I also know that users are using MyEclipse with Struts2. I came across this article on how to use struts 2 with ME. Take a look – http://struts.apache.org/2.0.14/docs/does-myeclipse-6-support-struts-2.html
