GopsMemberWhen i tried to open .pdf files in 64-bit Myeclipse 10.6 web browser, it is opening in new Acrobat reader window, Not in the same internal web browser. But it is working fine in 32- bit Myeclipse 10.1 web browser(.pdf files are opening in web browser) . Is there any settings to open .pdf files 64-bit Myeclipse 10.6 internal web browser ?
support-swapnaModeratorGops,
By default the .pdf files will be opened in a new Acrobat reader window in both 32 bit and 64 bit installations of MyEclipse 10.6.
You can set the editor of your choice to open the .pdf files from Window > Preferences > General > Editors > File Associations. If the .pdf is not already listed under File Types, click Add to add it. For the .pdf file type, you can choose the ‘Associated Editor’ by clicking Add and selecting ‘MyEclipse Web Browser’ from the list.
Attached is the screenshot for your reference.

support-tonyKeymasterGops,
It looks as though you may already have set up the file association for PDFs. However, there appears to be a problem with the 64 bit version of eclipse (the problem occurs in base eclipse) so that it, or the browser used, is unable to use the browser plug-in with 64 bit Java. This eclipse forum entry might help explain the problem.
However, there are PDF viewer plug-ins available for eclipse that work on MyEclipse too. Go to Help->Eclipse Marketplace and search for “pdf viewer”. Both Pdf4Eclipse and the Jpedal PDF Viewer work with MyEclipse, so you might want to install either of these. We don’t endorse or support any third party plug-in but both appear to work OK in MyEclipse.
Please let us know if this helps.
CongrevepdfMemberI haven’t met the same problem as yours, nor did i used myeclipse 10.6. You can transfer to another pdf web viewer to see the pdfs can be opened or not. I just think if we implement a pdf viewer, the Adobe cannot be activated when we open pdfs.
