Hi There .I was working on MyEclipse3.8.x+Eclipse 3.0 and created workspace and a webproject..after few days i upgraded the Environment to Myeclipse 4.0 + Eclipse 3.1.After upgrading when iam trying to work with Old Work Space and project …iam able to connect to old work space ..but iam unable to see old project …

Any Guidance is highly appreciable

JD,

The problem is likely the upgrade. You can’t actually upgrade from MyEclipse 3.8.4 to MyEclipse 4.0; you need to do a complete, new installation of Eclipse 3.1 and MyEclipse 4.0. If you do that, then open your old workspace with the new installation, you should be able to use your project as before.

I did new installation with Eclipse 3.1 and MyEclipse 4.0 and modified the Target with C:\eclipse3.1\eclipse\eclipse.exe -clean..Still iam unable to see the Old project..

What view are you trying to use to see the project? Is the project open? Can you try turning off all the filters on the view you are using? Does the project show up in the Navigator View? If not, can you use File > Import… > Existing Project into Workspace to bring the project into the workspace?

Also, can you please post all the information we request in the [URL=http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-393.html]Posting Guidelines[/URL] thread at the top of this forum? That will give us some context so that we can determine what might be the issue.

Thanks Scott..It worked for me by importing the the project…Earlier i was able to get the project by just opening the work space.
