    Hi.

Weblogic service packs (they go up to version 4 now) has modified the DTD for
    weblogic.xml, adding more elements.

In my case, the element “filter-dispatched-requests-enabled” under “container-descriptor”
was added in service pack 2. I think there might be another one also.
The list of changes are buried inside the different relase notes for the service packs.

I’ve manually replaced all weblogic 81 dtd files that I’ve found underneath myeclipse,
but the xml editor still complaints.
Specifically, I’ve replaced the content of this file:
    /MyEclipse/eclipse/plugins/com.ibm.webtooling.system.dtds_13.8.4/dtds/wls810_weblogic810-web-jar.dtd

The new DTD can be retrieved from the weblogic.jar file or from this URL:
    http://www.bea.com/servers/wls810/dtd/weblogic810-web-jar.dtd

    Sincerely,
    Henrik Bentel

Henrik thank you for the detail and link, we will look into this right away.

ON a side note you did the right thing, but may need to restart due to caching issues to see the changes.
