Marcus BeyerMemberAll the same on my win xp system (also deleting configuration, etc.), BUT: if I now do “Scan for Updates” on that entry “MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench 3.8.0”. I get:
“The current configuration contains errors and this operation can have unpredictable results. Do you want to continue?”
That does not sound good at all 🙁
Marcus BeyerMemberFurthermore deployment now goes wrong: the .ear file for my application does not contain any .jar or .war files.
I am thinking of switching back to beta 2.
Scott AndersonParticipantmb,

You’re right, it appears that packaged deployment of EARs was broken by a seemingly unrelated change late in the QA cycle. This will be seen as a blocker internally so I’m sure at least a quick fix will be issued very soon. At the present time, the workaround is to use exploded deployment instead.
“The current configuration contains errors and this operation can have unpredictable results. Do you want to continue?”
I replicated that too, but it says the same thing when you click on Eclipse SDK and request an update check also. I then expanded the MyEclipse entry and selected each feature, and selected show properties and each one reports it is configured properly, as do all the Eclipse features. However, this does not occur on a plain Eclipse 3.0 install so I entered a bug report on it also. It does not seem to affect functionality, but we do need to make it stop warning, as you indicated. Thanks for pointing it out.
scarrierMemberDo you have planning for quick fix ?
Riyad KallaMemberThe bug has been fixed in CVS, we are hoping to do a maintenence release by the end of the week.
Jeff BlumenthalMemberI have an enterprise application project. When I do an exploded deploy, it does not copy out my ProjectEJB META-INF files.
Please double check that too.
I know you posted a staus this morning, but could you please post a current status of the fix?
Thank you,
Jeff
Riyad KallaMemberJeff,
We’ll double check that now, thank you for the heads up.
Scott AndersonParticipantIt’s working correctly on the internal build we’ll be releasing as a fix pack very shortly.
Scott AndersonParticipantThe issues discussed in this thread were addressed in MyEclipse 3.8.1
