    Hello,

everytime I update MyEclipse some new validating features makes development pretty difficult for me. I dont know about other people’s project structures, but I dont need those features. This time I am trying with 7.0.

Whenever I save a .java file Validation Monitor takes like 10 seconds to complete. I tried to switch it off MyEclipse->Validation->Suspend All Validators

Whenever I start MyEclipse it is updateing indexes (runs for 5 mins already): I tried to switch off MyEclipse->Maven4MyEclipse

Still both processes are running. How can I get rid of them?

    Thanks
    Rene

    Rene,
Can you go to MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details and paste the information here for me.

How many projects do you have in the workspace?

It is better now again. Dont know why it was that slow the other day. Maybe there is still an issue with 7.0 related to the validators:

    1. It still showed me the JSP Warnings when I suspended the corresponding validator
    2. I activated all valdiators now and it doesnt show me warnings and errors in my package explorer only if I open the java file I can see those warnings and errors.

I going to try with version 6.5.

However here you find the information you requested ( I only got 1 project in my workspace):

Sorry for the hiccup. 7.0 GA would be released by the end of this month and these issue should be sorted out by then.
